What you will need:

½ cup sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)

¼ cup Citric acid from Bramble Berry Soap Supplies

2 tbsp. finely ground sea salt

3

Then Sift through a strainer to prevent any bubbles from forming later on.

5

6

Next add your oils.

7

Mix thoroughly.

8

9

Next add colorant (optional). I like my bombs a nice natural white but I am going to color them red for this tutorial.

10

This is going to cause the mixture to pre-fizz, but if you work quickly it should be fine.

11

After colorant is well mixed, add the Witch hazel. 6-8 squirts of witch hazel should work nicely (depending on where you live, we live in NC)

12

Hand mix well, and then clamp mixture into the palm of your hand to check consistency. If it holds its shape, it is ready to press into molds.

13

Pack it firmly into the mold.

18

Have some fun and make different shapes

19

Allow the bombs to set in mold for six hours before packaging.

Then have fun!!!
